Game Day Rainout or Cancellation Process

When in doubt, assume games will happen as scheduled. Here’s how we handle weather-related decisions:

1. Decision Timing: We’ll decide whether to play, delay, or cancel games early on gameday morning, usually by 7:00 AM.
2. Where to Check: Visit this page for updates on Game Day field status starting at 7:15 AM. Make sure the update shows the current game date.
3. Weather Conditions:
   • We play in light to moderate rain unless the field is unsafe (e.g., standing water).
   • Heavy rain or lightning may cause delays or cancellations.
4. Lightning Delays:
   • If lightning is detected within 10 miles, games will be delayed for 30 minutes after the last lightning strike.
   • To stay on schedule, lightning delays will shorten current games instead of pushing back later ones.
